A Closer Inspection

Prepping for a big stunt has a lot to do with inspecting Roll Cages.  Professionals trust their life to the work of others in the motion picture film industry  - and knowing how to inspect that work is imperative.  Corey will show you how during this stunt training!

Are YOU ready to learn?

Turn your love of driving into a career!

Having the skills to drift a picture-vehicle through an intersection, throw forward and reverse 180’s with precision and accuracy, and skid to a stop within inches of a camera-mark are only a few of the essential skills you must have to become one of the top professional Stunt-Drivers in the film and television industry. But having the knowledge and ability to jump, pipe-ramp and cannon-roll a picture-vehicle through an intersection is much more valuable. Because performing those types of big vehicular stunts is where the “big money” is made in the motion picture film industry!

THE CAR CRASHING CLINIC COACH

Stuntman COREY EUBANKS has been crashing vehicles in the film and television industry for more than forty years. With ten nominations to his credit, he is a three-time-winner of RedBull’s TAURUS WORLD STUNT AWARD for best vehicular stunt. Throughout his career Corey has pipe-ramped, flipped, cannon-rolled and jumped more than 500 vehicles, including a 42,000 pound prison bus that he cannon-rolled 3 ½ times at 60 mph on the feature film, “FAST 5”.

Knowledge that could save your life

Passing his knowledge along....

The knowledge and wisdom Corey has acquired throughout his career in the motion picture film industry is truly invaluable data to any Stunt-Driver who is serious about crashing cars for a living in the film and television industry. For the first time, stuntman Corey Eubanks is not only going to share his wisdom, he is going to teach his “tricks of the trade” to those who want to learn from the numerous mistakes he has made over his extensive career.  If you want to do the "big stunts" this stunt training is invaluable!

HIDDEN DANGERS

Often, while a Stunt-Driver is struggling to escape from an overturned vehicle, fuel is leaking onto the hot engine-block that can easily ignite. And up-side-down FUEL-CELLS can also leak, catch fire and erupt.

A vehicle that has been cannon-rolled at a high-speed, or pipe-ramped, can easily tumble off the highway and plummet down a cliff, or into a lake, or river.

The reality is, there are hundreds of hazardous scenarios Stunt-Drivers could find themselves faced with when performing vehicular stunts. And sometimes there just isn’t enough time to sit and wait for the Safety-Extraction-Team to come to your rescue. That’s why it’s imperative Stunt-Drivers are properly trained on how to escape from an overturned, FULLY-CAGED-VEHICLE without any assistance from anyone! The fact is, having this skillset could literally mean the difference between life or death.

A GROWING DEMAND

Many of the veteran Stunt-Drivers who have been performing the majority of the big vehicular stunts in the film and television industry over the past twenty-five years are getting too old to continue abusing their bodies. As a result, there is an increasing demand for younger Stunt-Drivers to replace those who are wisely turning down the big vehicular stunts.

SEIZING THE OPPORTUNITY

Getting an opportunity to perform a cannon-roll, a pipe-ramp, or a big car jump in the film and television industry is rare. But when the opportunity does present itself you want to be fully prepared to increase your chances of getting hired.

Truthfully, with no experience or training whatsoever, your chances of being hired to perform a big vehicular stunt are slim to none. Because it is not only the Stunt Coordinator’s job, it is their responsibility to hire the Stunt-Driver who he or she feels has the most experience and expertise to execute the big vehicular stunt as safely as possible.

INCREASING YOUR CHANCES

When a Stunt Coordinator has been informed that you have completed COREY’S CAR CRASHING CLINIC, and that you have learned all about the proper safety-equipment to use, received extensive training on how to safely secure yourself inside a caged vehicle, as well as extract yourself from a vehicle that has been overturned, it will greatly increase the chances of that Stunt Coordinator having enough confidence to fulfill your dream and give you the opportunity of a lifetime!

One-On-One Training

Stuntman Corey Eubanks will not only educate those attending about the safety procedures he has used while performing some of the biggest vehicular stunts ever performed in the motion picture film industry, he will work one-on-one with each student to coach and educate them about the topics below.

Inspecting Your Roll-Cage

Inspecting Your Roll-Cage

Roll Cage built inside stunt bus on Fast Five movie

There are many experienced fabricators around the world who build roll-cages for the motion picture film industry. And there are multiple roll-cage designs that are safe and effective. But there are also multiple roll-cage designs that are unsafe. Therefore, it is important that you are well educated, and capable of telling the difference between a roll-cage that is safe, and a roll-cage that is unsafe!

Fortunately, stuntman Corey Eubanks has had the opportunity to climb into roll-cages designed and built by fabricators from all around the world. And for the first time he is going to share his knowledge and opinion as to what designs are best, and safest for performing high-speed vehicular stunts. And he will explain what you should be looking for when inspecting the roll-cage inside the vehicle you are going to be crashing.

Safety Equipment

There are many opinions and theories as to what safety equipment is best for performing big vehicular stunts. But few of those who are openly voicing their opinions have actually crashed, jumped and/or flipped as many vehicles as Corey.

Undeniably an authority in vehicular stunts, Corey will talk about the safety equipment he has used throughout his career and explain what safety equipment he feels you should use for performing various vehicular stunts.

Stuntman Corey Eubanks will disclose the type of equipment he has come to trust throughout his career in the motion picture film industry to successfully perform hundreds of high-speed pipe-ramps. He will also reveal his world-famous STUNT SEAT that he designed and built himself. And demonstrate the body position he uses when strapping himself into his five-point-harness to alleviate spinal compression.

Corey will also reveal his car-inner tube “trick” he uses to protect his knee and forearm. He will also discuss the benefits of holding onto the steering-wheel when pipe-ramping a vehicle versus letting go of the steering-wheel.

Corey will explain the different affects you can expect a vehicle to have from hitting Pipe-Ramps of various dimensions. He will also explain where you should hit the pipe-ramp with the undercarriage of the vehicle in order to gain maximum height. And where you should hit the pipe-ramp in order to achieve maximum rotation. He will also reveal a trick he uses when approaching a pipe-ramp to accomplish multiple rolls.  This truly is stunt training you can find nowhere else!

Cannon Rolls & Big Jumps

Preparing for a Cannon Roll

The Cannon Simulation System

The Cannon Simulation System

There are very few stuntmen in the motion picture film industry who have performed as many cannon-rolls as stuntman Corey Eubanks, or have as much knowledge and experience. And when it comes to performing cannon-rolls Corey is not only an expert, he is an authority.

During the stunt training of Corey’s Car Crashing Clinic, he will share his list of safety equipment that he has not only come to trust but has kept him from getting seriously injured for more than forty years! And, he will explain why he has activated every cannon he has ever done with a FOOT-SWITCH instead of holding a button in his hand. And explain why it is imperative to have a toggle-switch with a RED LIGHT to make your cannon-button “hot”.

He will also explain the difference between powder-cannons, nitrogen-cannons, and the hydraulic-arm-system that he has used multiple times to flip vehicles. He will explain the difference between a butterfly-valve and a ball-valve. And what you can expect from each as far as delay of effect.

Corey will explain the different OD’s of cannon-poles, and how the length - aka the “throw” can affect the rotation of different size vehicles. He will also explain what a punch-plate is, and how big it may need to be for the cannon to get maximum effect on the surface you’re driving on.

He will explain the importance of the placement of the cannon inside the vehicle you’re going to roll. And how much pressure you should use to roll a vehicle depending on its size and weight. And why having too much pressure can ruin your chances of getting multiple rolls.

Corey will also demonstrate and teach one of the most important things you should know when performing a cannon-roll - how to neutralize the rotation of your vehicle before activating the cannon for directional accuracy. A secret very few Stunt-Drivers know anything about.

The Cannon Simulation System

The Cannon Simulation System

The Cannon Simulation System

Stunt Cage built for the motion picture film industry

Each student will have multiple turns going for a ride inside a CANNON-SIMULATION-SYSTEM Corey designed to send vehicles tumbling across the ground numerous times. This jarring experience will not only give students a realistic understanding of what it’s really like to cannon-roll, and/or pipe-ramp a vehicle, it will help cause disorientation and confusion – two physical conditions that can inhibit a Stunt-Driver from escaping a burning vehicle as quickly as possible.

No other school in the world educates students on how to safety perform cannon-rolls, pipe-ramps, and big vehicular jumps with proven safety techniques. Or, how to extract themselves from a fully caged vehicle resting on its side, and/or upside down. And having the knowledge and ability to extract yourself from a fully caged vehicle lying on its side, and/or upside down, is a skill that could literally save your life!  This is must have stunt training for those in the industry!

Preparing for Big Jumps

The Cannon Simulation System

Preparing for Big Jumps

Corey Eubanks jumps the General Lee

In addition to jumping the world-famous General Lee over a span of more than 25 years, Corey has jumped hundreds of other vehicles of all shapes and sizes for the motion picture film industry. And these jumps stuntman Corey Eubanks has performed throughout his career were typically 150’ - 200’ from ramp to ground.

Corey will teach his students how to properly use the JUMP-VEST-BUNGY-SYSTEM that was invented on “The Dukes of Hazzard” television show. A system Corey has used for every jump he has ever done. And has saved him from compressing the vertebrates in his back.

THE IMPACT SIMULATOR

The impact you experience when crash-landing a vehicle onto the asphalt from thirty feet in the air is somewhat jarring to say the least. And to prevent yourself from getting seriously injured definitely takes the proper equipment, and the proper training.

The IMPACT-SIMULATOR Corey designed allows students to gradually experience what it’s like crash-landing a vehicle onto the ground from 4’ – 8’ and how to “ride the bungy” in order to keep from compressing the vertebrates in their backs.

There are many stunt-driving schools in the United States that can teach you how to become a professional Stunt-Driver. But there has never been a stunt training school that teaches you how to crash cars for a living. Until now!
